X:\ No Way Out to Run Forwards in 2013

It was recently announced via Thorpe Park that the indoor roller coaster “X:\ No Way Out” is to run forwards for the 2013 season. Originally opened in 1996, the now newly renamed “X”was the park’s first non-powered roller-coaster. The ride was marketed as the “world’s first backwards roller coaster in the dark.”

Thorpe Park has stated it will be “reprogrammed around light and sound” yet full details of what themeing and audio/visual effects will be used are yet to be confirmed.
