Whirlwind Comes Storming Back to Lightwater

Thats Right! After months of speculation, it has been confirmed that Whirlwind, a Mondial Topscan which was introduced temporarily for the 2010 season, shall be returning.

The ride, which we penned as one of our “Top flat rides, of all time” in our Lightwater Valley review, shall be permanently installed at the park this season.

The ride is currently being refurbished by Mondial, and shall be located on the patch of land between The Ultimate and Raptor Attack.

A further 5 rides are being installed in the brand new area, Skeleton Cove, which is currently being developed on the site of the recently removed Go-Karts.
