THE SWARM Goes Vertical

Vertical construction is in full swing for ‘THE SWARM’, Thorpe Park’s B&M Wing Rider, which is due to open in March 2012.

The ride, which is to be themed around an apocalyptic invasion, shall feature 4 inversions and will be the first of it’s kind in the UK. It will also be only the 2nd B&M Wing Rider model to be constructed in Europe, behind Gardaland’s ‘Raptor’.

As can be seen in the below pictures, trackwork has begun, with the track expected to be fully constructed in only a matter of weeks.
