Slammer Remains Closed for Fright Nights

After weeks of ongoing technical issues, it looks as though Slammer will remain non-operational.

Slammer has been out of action for several weeks now, and UK Park News has been trying to gain news of whether it will become operational again in time for this weekend’s Fright Nights event.
Although the park have remained completely silent about the ride despite several direct queries, Thorpe Park’s official iPhone app reports the ride to still be closed.

Thorpe Park have issued UK Park News with the following official statement:

“Slammer is an incredibly sophisticated and sensitive piece of equipment and any minor issue will always be looked at with the utmost priority. The ride has been undergoing essential maintenance and we hope for it to be back up and running as soon as possible. We apologise for any inconvenience caused to our guests while Slammer has been unavailable.”
