Pilot Union Criticise Thorpe’s LC12 Plans

The comments from the British Airline and Pilot Association (aka Balpa) are in regards to a new 38 metre(125ft) rollercoaster set to be built under the theme of ‘urban devastation’ and would include the wreckage of a plane on the set, known to enthusiasts as LC12.

The union said the plans were too sensitive due to the park’s location close to Heathrow and Gatwick airports.

    This is very petty. People are too sensitive these days, I don’t know how this would be upsetting as it is a ride and not based on an event. People really need to just enjoy life rather than complaining. (I have nearly been in a plane crash and I wouldn’t find this upsetting)
