Oakwood Extends Late Night Opening

Oakwood Theme Park is to extend its late-night opening until the end of August due to popular demand.

The Pembrokeshire park will now be open until 10pm on Bank Holiday Monday, August 29^th and Wednesday August 31^st as part of its ‘Original After Dark’ events.

And visitors will still be able to enjoy illuminated rides, live music and extra evening Wild West High Diving Shows as part of the late night entertainment.

Oakwood Theme Park’s Anthony Crowdie said: “The ‘Original After Dark’ late night openings have proved to be extremely popular with visitors as they give an opportunity for locals, as well as holidaymakers, to visit the park.

“It’s great for people on holiday as they can spend the day on the beach and then come to the park and it also allows local people who are at work to enjoy an evening out.

“There’s also a totally different atmosphere to the park and the rides as the sun sets and that, combined with the new dive shows, live music and dance events, DJs and theatrical performances make it a really unique experience for visitors of all ages,” he added.

The Wild West High Diving Show features some of the most incredible high diving performers in the world!

A team of fearless cowboys perform amazing high altitude stunts as part of a Wild West themed outdoor spectacular as they plunge from a 25 metre board into less than three metres of water.
