Monster Trucks to Roar into Pleasure Island

MONSTER trucks will roar into Cleethorpes for the Extreme Stunt Show – the perfect event for daredevil motor-lovers.

Extreme Events Europe sees the continuation of the successful Evolution Tour and is bringing its fearless freestyle team to Pleasure Island.

After returning from Channel Four’s Famous And Fearless Arena in need of some TLC, the mega monsters known as Extreme and Lil’ Devil have undergone a makeover and are ready for some serious action.

Powering around the theme park with reckless abandonment, you won’t be able to help but admire the drivers’ skills in manoeuvring a 2,000-plus horse power methanol supercharged machine.

Audience members will no doubt be left open-mouthed as the vehicles fly through the air and drivers display death-defying tricks. From big ramp jumps to mid-air madness, this is one team you don’t want to miss.

Resident stuntman and commentator Jumpin’ Jez will keep you informed and entertained and, as well as trucks, there will be bike stunts galore.

The joker in the pack, Jez is a favourite with audiences the world over with several Guinness World Records to his name. He has promised to keep guests in a heightened state of amazement throughout the show.

Melanie Wood, director at Pleasure Island, said she thought the event was “unique” to Cleethorpes and the park is hoping for a turnout of more than 2,000 people.

She said: “The trucks will be based in the car park between us and Thorpe Park. They need a space of about 80 by 60 metres.

“It’s great news Extreme Events is bringing something new to the area. Hopefully, following this visit it will build Cleethorpes into its annual tour.

“I have seen a show like this before and it’s amazing. This is a great opportunity for people to see something this big in their home town. It might not happen again until next year.”
