Lightwater Valley 2011

The 2009 closed season was awash with speculation and theories over Alton Tower’s new Secret Weapon coaster Thi3teen. As we came to the end of 2010, it looked as though 2011 wasn’t going to offer anything for us to talk about and speculate over.

However, who’d have thought that the growing North Yorkshire theme Park Lightwater Valley would provide us with so much to talk about! Here’s what information we can release thus far:

- The Wave (Pirate Ship) has been put up for sale.
- The Go Karts have been sold.
- Ground Work has commenced in the area between Raptor Attack & The Ultimate
- A Large area is being cleared behind The Eagle’s Claw

It looks as though Lightwater 2011 is going to be the biggest and most successful year yet; with a flurry of activity that commenced as soon as the season reached its end. There’s plenty to get excited about and we’ll let you know as soon as more information is released by the park!
