Hydro Becomes Drenched

Oakwood recently announced that maintenance work was continuing on their Water Ride “Drenched” previously known as Hydro. Drenched is a 100ft Intamin Hyper Splash attraction that plunges guests into a reservoir containing over 4.5 million litres of water at speeds claimed to be up to 88mph.

Questions are now arising if the name change is down to a ride sponsorship deal with Britvic’s “Drenched” brand. We are awaiting an official announcement from the park.
