Halloween Themed Finale for Oakwood

Visitors will be able to enjoy a Halloween-themed live music finale to the season at Oakwood Theme Park on Saturday, November 3rd.

The Pembrokeshire attraction, which closes its doors for the 2012 season on Sunday, will be hosting popular local band Fasta Benj. There are seven in the band; instruments include violin, clarinet, trombone, saxophone, piano/synthesiser, guitar, ukulele, drums and various percussion. They will be performing a full set, complete with Halloween-theme costumes and props, as well as a series of impromptu performances featuring music, juggling and other entertainments throughout the day.

The band are also planning some extra special surprises for passengers on the ghost train of the park’s Spooky 3D ride.

“The ride takes visitors through the inside of a haunted house with a series of scary effects waiting for them around every corner,” said Oakwood’s Anthony Crowdie.

“However on Saturday some of the band members will be donning spooky fancy dress to add an extra interactive fun and frightening feel to the ride,” he added.

“This weekend is the last opportunity to visit us this year and we’re aiming to give visitors over the final weekend an entertaining send off with the help of Fasta Benj,” said Anthony.

“It’s been a great season and we’re already hard at work looking at new attractions and features for next year.

“Having watched a video of the band online, I’m certain they will be a huge hit with visitors to the park and can’t wait to get the chance to see them live,” he added.
