Grand Pier Launches Host of Attractions!

In 2008 Grand Pier at Weston-Super-Mare was burned down after an electrical fire brought devastation to the entire pier, completely destroying all buildings. The local community relies heavily on the tourist trade generated from the pier, which was one of the local area’s most popular attractions at the seaside town.

Tomorrow (Saturday 23rd October 2010) sees the launch of the New Grand Pier after 2 years of reconstruction, with a whopping £31 million being invested to create an all-new action packed attraction to help draw back its crowds.

The main attractions on the pier include:
Robocoaster
4D Cinema
F1 Simulator
Sidewinder (a mini version of a KMG Afterburner)
Lazer Maze
Moser Drop Tower
Dodgems
Go-Karts
