Enjoy the Winter Season at Chessington World of Adventures Resort
An altogether different winter awaits adventurers at Chessington World of Adventures Resort this year with our Winter Zoo Days. Available during weekends in November and December between 10am – 3pm, families can take a wander around the Zoo and SEA LIFE centre and get up close and personal with over 1,000 animals from the exotic to the endangered.
There’s just so much for the whole family to explore – meet mischievous meerkats, come nose to nose with sharks and rays in the spectacular SEA LIFE centre or roar with the lions in the Trail of the Kings. As if that wasn’t enough, we’ve also got some of our fantastic attractions ready and waiting for you. Find your way through the 4D fun in Hocus Pocus Hall, ride the bubbles for frothy family fun on Bubbleworks^ our indoor water ride and make sure you toss and turn on the waves of the high seas with Seastorm.
Let the Festivities Begin!
From 10th -11th December 2011 and 17th December 2011 – 2nd January 2012*, the resort dusts off its festive best as Winter Zoo Days get a Christmas touch. Come and see our brand new Reindeer as they enjoy their first Christmas in Chessington under the twinkly lights of their sparkly new stable. Make sure you join in with our very special show ‘The Elves and The Christmas Tree’ and meet Father Christmas as he explains the true meaning of Christmas. Our cheeky Christmas Elves will be roaming around the park so get the cameras out and strike a festive pose with them! Don’t forget to pop your letters into Father Christmas’s special Post Office in Market Square too. If you don’t get to see Father Christmas before the big day, worry not as he and his Elves will be staying with us throughout the Christmas holidays. Why not come and tell him all about those presents you found under your tree this year!
And that’s not all! You can experience a variety of animal presentations and feeds throughout the day. Get up close and personal with binturongs and macaws in the Wild Wood Animal Antics presentation or head down to Sealion Bay and learn all about the cheeky residents and their underwater antics. With Hocus Pocus Hall, Bubbleworks^ and Seastorm also available, there’s set to be lots of festive cheer this Christmas at Chessington!
