Drayton’s Magical Christmas
Visitors to Drayton Manor Theme Park this festive season will have the chance to climb aboard the Polar Express in its sensational 4D cinema.
A specially adapted screening of the iconic Polar Express film will have a run time of 15 minutes and¬†is being shown as part of Drayton‚Äôs Magical Christmas. It tells the story of a young boy, who on¬†Christmas Eve boards a magical train that’s headed to the North Pole and the home of Father Christmas. It is a tale of a journey of self-discovery which shows him that the wonder of life never fades for those who believe.
Viewers will get to experience the magical film in 3D, whilst sitting in a specially designed simulation chair that reacts to scenes in the film, meaning it will snow as part of the screening, making it a truly enchanting experience for adults and children and sure to get everyone in the festive spirit.
Colin Bryan, managing director at Drayton Manor Theme Park, said: ‚ÄúOur Magical Christmas event this year is going to be a real treat for everyone who comes and visits the park. We really wanted to get visitors into the festive spirit, and what better way than to offer a screening of a truly iconic festive film such as Polar Express, which is made even more sensational by the 4D experience.‚ÄĚ
The film, which is included in the entry price to the park, will be shown at various intervals each day throughout Magical Christmas, which starts on 16th¬†November.
The theme of Drayton‚Äôs Magical Christmas this year is ‚ÄėThe Knight Before Christmas‚Äô and will see the Excalibur ride transformed into an enchanted snow castle and become the home of Father Christmas. To complete the mystical medieval theme, there will be animatronic dragons and knights and live jesters providing entertainment. Thomas Land‚ĄĘ will also become a winter wonderland and will snow three times a day. Ben 10:Ultimate Mission will also be open*.
