Drayton Reveals New 4D Movie for 2013

This season visitors to Drayton Manor Theme Park, can experience the sights and sounds of the sea with “A Fish Story”, the new film for 2013 to be shown at the park’s stunning 4D cinema.

The musical underwater adventure, sees Deepo, an orange Garibaldi fish, and Billy, a trainee at the aquarium who magically turns into a fish, travel on a journey to the depths of the ocean, encountering many different sea creatures along the way, such as lively dolphins, stinging jellyfish, kind-hearted sharks and singing sea turtles.

The film is shown in 3D, but guests will encounter exciting effects of water splashes, wind blasts and bubbles making it a wonderful 4D sensory experience.

Viewers should also prepare for fun and surprises as motion-simulator seats shift and jiggle reacting to scenes in the film, in this breath taking experience for adults and children.

The specially adapted screening of “A Fish Story” will have a run time of approximately 15 minutes.

Colin Bryan, managing director at Drayton Manor Theme Park, said: “A Fish Story is this year’s cinema event at Drayton Manor and it’s going to be a real treat for everyone who comes and visits the park.

The movie also has a clear educational message regarding the environment, which we feel is important for children to understand, but to have fun whilst doing so,” he added.

The film, which is included in the entry price to the park, will be shown at various intervals each day from when the park opens on Friday 15th March.
