Drayton Manor to Sponsor Tamworth FC

Drayton Manor Theme Park is the new shirt sponsor for Tamworth FC’s away kit for the next two seasons, the park has announced.

Made by Jako, the striking new kit, with bright blue shirt, white shorts and blue socks, has the Drayton Manor logo emblazoned on the front and will be worn by The Lambs during the 2012/13 and 2013/14 seasons.

Tamworth FC, currently playing in the Blue Square Premier League, is helping to launch the new kit to the general public. First team players, Richard Tait, Jonathan Hedge and Scott Barrow, joined Colin Bryan, Managing Director at Drayton Manor Theme Park for the official unveiling.

Drayton Manor’s Managing Director, Colin Bryan, said: “Drayton Manor Theme Park has been part of this community since 1950, while Tamworth FC was founded in 1933, so this is a partnership between two local organisations, which are very much at the heart of this area, with a passion for football. We’re also proud to be able to extend our support to the local community.”

Nick Lunn, Tamworth FC’s Commercial Manager, added: “We’re very pleased to have Drayton Manor on the front of our away shirts. It’s great to be sponsored by a local business, especially one as well-known as Drayton Manor Theme Park. Hopefully this will be the start of a long and successful partnership.”

The away jersey will cost at £30 for adults and £20 for juniors.
