Drayton Manor to End Season with a Bang

Drayton Manor Theme Park, near Tamworth, Staffordshire, will end its 2012 season with a bang with two nights of spectacular firework displays on Saturday 3rd and Sunday 4th November.

Set to music, each display will begin at 7pm and last for 20 minutes, making them one of the biggest firework events in the Midlands.

In addition to the fireworks, visitors will also get to enjoy a host of rides that will be open until 9pm, including G-Force, a rollercoaster that subjects riders to 4.3Gs, and Apocalypse, the 54-metre drop tower voted the UK’s scariest ride by Channel Five’s The Gadget Show. In addition, there’s a 4D Cinema, 15-acre zoo and the Ben 10: Ultimate Mission rollercoaster.

For younger visitors, Drayton Manor has Europe’s only Thomas Land™ attraction, which features a variety of rides themed around the popular Thomas & Friends™ series.

Drayton Manor is urging those who want to come and see the fireworks display to book online now to take advantage of the cheaper prices. The reduced rate means that you can spend a whole day in the park and experience the spectacular fireworks display in the evening for only £20 for adults, £12 for grandee (60+) and children aged 4 – 11 years old and free for children under four. There will also be free parking for those booking in advance.
