Drayton Manor Receives over 1000 Applications for Seasonal Roles

It’s that time of year again when the theme park recruitment drive hits full force with parks all over the country scrambling to read through the many applications they receive for various seasonal vacancies. This year Drayton Manor Theme Park, near Tamworth, Staffordshire, received over 1000 job applications for the 150 seasonal vacancies that were posted. With only a couple of months before the park opens, Drayton Manor now has the arduous task of sifting through and picking out the best applications to move forward to interview stage.

Colin Bryan, managing director, Drayton Manor Theme Park, said: ‚ÄúThe people we recruit will play a vital role in ensuring that our visitors experience the best possible day out.”

Drayton Manor opens it’s gates for the 2013 season on Friday March 15th. The park is home to Europe’s only stand up roller coaster “Shockwave”.
