Cornwall’s Crealy Goes Green

The Cornish attraction has submitted plans to enter the race to become the first solar powered theme park in the UK.

The plans detail how they intend to provide enough energy to meet 100% of the park’s needs during day light hours and as the yearly hours of sun for this park is in excess of 900 hours, any surplus power will be fed into the National Grid.

Plans for Cornwall follow a similar proposal for Devon’s Crealy Great Adventure Park which is currently under public consultation.
