Alton Towers Voted Top Icon Amongst Young Brits

In a recent survey of over 2000 children undertaken by UKbudget  Hotel Chain ‘Travel Lodge’ revealed that Alton Towers is the top UK icon amongst children aged between six and sixteen.

The results showed that children were more concerned about what the site had to offer as opposed to its historical significance when deciding on how much of an icon it was.
