Alton Towers Tow-Away Zones

If you’re visiting Alton Towers this Sunday for the 2011 Alton Towers Live Event – make sure you set off early as it looks to be a very busy weekend. The park have included a car tow-away zone on the immediate roads surrounding the park.

Cars parking on the road from Star Caravan & Camping Park right through to Alton village will be towed away during Sunday’s event. If you’re heading to the theme park this weekend, and were planning on avoiding the queues (and cost) of the car park, look out for the tow-away zone signs on the road sides.

It is also reported that there will be temporary traffic management in place over the weekend on the approaching roads.
