Alton Towers Submit Plans for Indoor Ride

Alton Towers have recently submitted a planning application to Staffordshire Moorlands District Council for a new indoor ride. The application was submitted on 20th August 2011 and consists of ‘construction of new indoor ride at alton towers resort and associated hard/soft landscaping works’.

The ride is said to be introduced for the 2012 season and whilst there are no further details it is widely assumed that the new attraction will be enclosed in the existing Black Hole tent which has been used for storage since the ride closed in 2005.
