Alton Towers Submit Planning Application for X Sector Tent

Today, two planning applications were submitted by Alton Towers, regarding the former Black Hole Tent located in the X Sector area of the park.

The tent, formerly home to the Schwarzkopf Rollercoaster, has disused by the public since the rides closure back in 2005, functioning purely as a large storage space for Alton Towers.

However, last year saw it house both Carnival of Screams and Boiler House, Alton Towers’ two upcharge Scare Mazes, during their annual ‘Scarefest’ Halloween event.

Though the tent shall either be removed or altered, further details have yet to arise as to which attraction the site shall be used for, and when the development is due to open.
