Alton Towers On-Ride Photo Price Hits £10 – Updated

The cost of a single On-Ride Photograph at the Alton Towers Resort has been raised from £8 to £10!

Reported by TowersTimes, the reason for the 25% Price hike is yet unknown. The move is not expected to go down well with guests at the Alton Towers Resort, with many already feeling that £8 for a photograph is unreasonable.

The cost of a ‘PhotoPass’ however, has remained the same, at £20 for 5 photographs. It is therefore believed that the rise in price for a single-photo is to encourage guests to purchase multiple photos, using the PhotoPass.

An offer currently in place, of two photos for £12, has not been changed since the price rise.

Update: It has been reported that Alton Towers Resort have now lowered the price back down to £8.

What do you think of the price for an On-Ride Photo? Worth the price? Or perhaps you feel that £10 is unjustifiable? Leave us a comment below!
