African Adventures Week Returns to Chessington World of Adventures
If you are looking to take your family on a unique adventure this half term, then visit Chessington World of Adventures Resort for a taste of Africa without having to leave the leafy suburbs of Surrey!
Discover a week of African Adventures from 11th – 19th February set amongst the wilds of Chessington’s Zoo, SEA LIFE centre and safari-themed resort hotel.
Adventurers have the chance to explore and enjoy African culture with face mask decorating, jewellery making, African inspired dance and song, face painting and African drumming and of course meet lots of African animals amongst the 200 species at the Zoo.
If all of that wasn’t enough, CBeebies favourite Raa Raa the Noisy Lion makes a return to the resort too. Raa Raa will be available for meet and greets on the park throughout the half term holiday plus families staying at the hotel will get the chance to enjoy a character breakfast with Raa Raa himself too! For younger adventurers, Raa Raa-based arts and crafts will also be available for them to get creative with.
After an action packed day, kids can join the Movie Club or play in the Wii Lounge at the resort hotel whilst adults can relax in the Zafari Bar & Grill for a truly African experience. Guests can also try a spot of African wine tasting looking out over the Wanyama Village & Reserve where Grevy’s Zebras, Sitatungas, Dorcas Gazelles, Scimitar Horned Oryx and Ostriches roam.
Turn your African Adventure into the perfect short break with a ‘Roar & Snore’ package at the safari themed resort hotel. Don’t miss out on exclusive offers on short breaks this half term as kids go free*! With breaks from just £99 for a family of four including full English breakfast, use of the leisure club complete with indoor swimming pool, sauna and steam rooms and of course tickets for Chessington Zoo and the SEA LIFE centre, you can ensure you and your family have the wildest half term adventure yet!
